Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
NBTHK Hozon (well preserved) certificated
Swordsmith school: KIYOMITSU

Antique Katana long blade made by a famous swordsmith schoold KIYOMITSU located in Kaga (Ishikawa pref.) in late Muromachi period, 1590's. This quality item is offered from our Yokohama Sword Store. The smith name of Kiyomitsu is inscripted on tang. Created with a beautiful narrow straight tempered-pattern on blade. Registered as Hozon paper "Well Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society) that is given to well-preserved sword with artistic value. The blade comes in a complete antique (Edo period) ornate mountings including the beautiful Tsuba guard featuring stunning openwork. A copy of the authority translated to English by the vendor comes with.
